Despite not having an album out since 2018, Travis Scott has continued to make big moves in 2020. His latest? The lead single – titled ‘The Plan’ – of the soundtrack of the most anticipated film of the year.
The film is Christopher Nolan’s Tenet, which is his first film since 2017’s Dunkirk, and officially hits cinemas around the world next week.
‘The Plan’, however, is set to drop this Friday, 21st August. This is Scott’s first solo single of the year, following a stack of huge collaborations, including ‘Wash Us In The Blood’ with Kanye West, ‘TKN’ with Rosalía and ‘The Scotts’ with Kid Cudi.
In a new interview with GQ, Scott gave his official review of the film – details of which have been hard to come by.
“I can’t even explain it,” he said. “You literally just have to watch it. It’s very fire.”
If you say so, Scott.
