Ultra Music Festival Locks In March 2014 Return, Early Bird Tickets On Sale Next Week

With more than 100,000 people still processing their experiences from this year’s Ultra Music Festival, organisers are gearing up to do it all over again. Today comes the official date announcement for UMF 2014 and, anticipating the feverish desire sure to ensue, they’ve already announced early-bird ticket sale dates.

Starting 28th March, 2014, calling this announcement long-lead is a bit of an understatement but given the event’s record-setting year in 2013, it’s no surprise they’re anxious to start planning a follow up. Early-bird tickets will hit the market as soon as Tuesday, 21st May leaving just under a year to plan how you’re going to get to Miami. Worry about getting back once you’re there, we reckon.

According to promotional material, next year’s event will mark a “new level, new experience” despite the fact that 2014 will be only half as long as 2013, with the event running over just one weekend in an effort to scale down proceedings. This year, the huge crowd that filled downtown Miami to the brim were treated to two final performance from Swedish House Mafia, as well as a set from Deadmau5, so whatever this “new level” is, it’s going to be crazy. Like, two Aviciis on an armoured unicorn crazy.

A mecca for all who like to party, these early bird tickets likely fly out the door (as birds are wont to do) before even a mention of a lineup. Tickets are available only through the official UMF website.
