We might see a Van Halen Australian tour in 2012 after two promoters are currently in talks with Van Halen management. The legendary line up were supposed to be out here for the recently cancelled Soundwave Revolution tour.
Triple M Music reporter Nui To Koha spoke with Melbourne’s Hot Breakfast this morning saying that the promoters had spoken to VH management: “we really want Van Halen here next year,” and that “this Soundwave Revolution thing was a debacle. We want to tour the band and it will happen early next year.”
It’s likely to be large Arena shows in all major capital cities. We’ll probably find out more details in the coming months.
Alice Cooper is still coming here for his Australian Tour dates, while other SWR bands should be on these yet to be announced ‘mini festivals’.
