Vans Warped Tour Australia Announces Local Band Additions For Canberra

Vans Warped Tour Australia 2013 organisers are making quick work of announcing the local band additions, with the event just weeks away it’s easy to understand why. Canberra has now received their good news, with Atlantis Awaits and Drawing North added to the capital’s roster.

Forming in 2009, Atlantis Awaits have not wasted a second in generating the awesome momentum of a freight train, nationwide. First unveiling a highly-lauded debut EP, the band quickly hit the road for a national tour, sweeping through every state and playing to over 8000 people.

Meanwhile the raucous energy and finely-crafted power-pop melodies of Drawing North will be sharing the bill alongside Atlantis Awaits, as well as Parkway Drive, Millencolin, and many more. Drawing North’s live show is non-stop energy and their songcraft is second-to-none, so don’t miss it.

Local acts for Sydney, Brisbane, and Coffs Harbour have already been announced, bringing Warped fans some of the finest homegrown talent Australia has to offer.
