From the organisers of Victoria’s The Hills Are Alive comes a brand-new addition to our New Year’s Eve options – NYE On The Hill. Kicking off Monday, 30th December, the festival will tun until Wednesday, 1st January and promises a horde of the best up-and-coming home grown talent.
The Hills Are Alive saw massive success as a ‘friends-of-friends’ invite-only type deal, but it has fast outgrown its original concept and will now be shared with the rest of us. Taking place at a utopia located 90 minutes out of Melbourne known as The Farm (10 minutes from Loch Village) NYE On The Hill will be a super chill event well away from the masses most New Year’s Eve parties tend to attract.
Previous events from the organisers have included performances from the likes of Vance Joy, Alpine, DZ Deathrays, New Navy and Saskwatch. This gives us a good indication that, when NYE On The Hill’s lineup is announced, it will feature some of the best in buzzworthy native talent.
We can expect to see full roster Sunday, 11th August. Tickets will go on sale the following Sunday, 18th August.
