Video Premiere: Fun Machine – ‘Alchemist’

Music Feeds is kicking things off today with the premiere of the latest clip from colourful Canberra alt-pop trio Fun Machine.

Produced by long-time collaborater Sam King, Alchemist is described as a track that “explores the hopeful and optimistic theme that everyone, with some pressure, is more than capable of creating something semi-precious”.

And to celebrate the song’s release, Alchemist is currently available for free download for a limited time. Click here to grab your copy of the track.

Alchemist is the second single to come from the band’s hugely anticipated debut album, which is expected to drop in early 2013.

Described by triple j’s Nick Findlay as Canberra’s answer to The Dirty Projectors, Fun Machine’s joyful, energetic shows have seen them invited to play alongside the likes of Architecture in Helsinki, Boy & Bear, and Gotye. They’ve also popped up on the bills of iconic Aussie festivals such as Groovin the Moo, Foreshore, and Secret Garden.
