Billie Eilish was on double duties for the most recent Saturday Night Live episode over the weekend – serving as both host and musical guest.
In addition to appearing in a series of sketches (many of which were festively-themed, one of which included a cameo from Miley Cyrus) Eilish performed two songs from latest album Happier Than Ever; its title track along with ‘Male Fantasy’.
For the former, Eilish was introduced by her parents – her mother sporting a sweater that read “Billie’s Mom”. For ‘Male Fantasy’, Eilish was seated on the floor of an empty room-styled set, echoing the aesthetic of the song’s recently-released music video. For both performances, Eilish was joined by her brother and collaborator Finneas on guitar.
Happier Than Ever arrived back in July of this year. Last month, Eilish scored a slew of Grammy nominations for the album – the singer-songwriter is up for seven awards, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance and more.
Eilish will bring Happier Than Ever to our shores next year, with a massive Australian arena tour set to take place in September, taking in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth.
