Corona Extra have unveiled their latest enticing campaign. On Mexico Time takes you through the streets and on the roads and beaches of Mexico as we follow a group of friends hitting every break from Baja to the Caribbean and Pacific Coasts.
The journey was all caught on film by director Taylor Steele, who has also worked with similar projects such as Corona’s La Casa Artist Residency. Photographer Chris Searl was also on location, capturing rare moments in time for a series of still shots. Both the stills and the video will be rolled out throughout On Mexico Time, portraying not only a life most of us would kill for, but also a place we’d much, much rather be.
The underlying idea of the campaign is to inspire us couch potatoes to look away from the TV screen and start searching for rare moments of our own – and we can tell you now, they ain’t anywhere near the computer either.
The soundtrack was delicately woven together by singer/songwriter MT Warning, who composed the tune Sinking Sun just for the film. That is just another reason why we can expect big things from On Mexico Time.
