Watch Hands Like Houses Deliver A Smooth Acoustic Cover Of Linkin Park’s ‘Numb’

Aussie heavy music exports Hands Like Houses have shared video of themselves covering Linkin Park‘s classic track Numb, and it’s both super-smooth and super-nostalgic.

It’s been a huge year for Hands Like Houses, who, among other things, have wowed crowds at the 2016 Unify Gathering, dropped their epic third studio LP Dissonants and rocked stages across the country supporting Northlane and In Hearts Wake.

Somewhere in the middle of all that, the band also managed to swan over to the US to play a heavy music festival called Carolina Rebellion, where they shared the staged with the likes of Bring Me The Horizon, Deftones, Disturbed and fellow Aussie heavyweights Parkway Drive and Sick Puppies.

While they were there blasting fans with a face-full of distortion, they also took some time out to turn things down and deliver a pretty sweet unplugged rendition of Linkin Park’s Numb (below) for APTV’s Zippo Sessions.

A video of the performance has just appeared online, and the Meteora classic actually translates pretty seamlessly in acoustic form, allowing Hands Like Houses frontman Trenton Woodley’s powerful vocals to smash through.

The cover comes after Hands Like Houses performed an equally smooth cover of No Doubt’s Don’t Speak  for a recent instalment of triple j’s Like A Version.

Check out their Numb cover below, and don’t forget to catch the band performing live on their biggest national headlining tour ever in February of 2017.
