Watch Hugh Jackman Perform ‘Wolverine: The Musical’

After his Oscar-nominated performance as Jean Valjean in Les Miserables, the movie, Australia’s beloved export Hugh Jackman is taking even more risks with his illustrious career, merging together two of his most notable roles in a rousing performance of Wolverine: The Musical.

The parody song was written by a BBC team to the tune of Les Misérables’ Who Am I? and performed by Jackman on BBC radio’s The Matt Edmondson Show this weekend. The ever-grounded actor poked fun at everything from his fitness regime to an actor’s constant existential search for identity.

Am I a superhero with some claws?/Or just an actor searching for applause? Wolverine has all the fans/But what about me Hugh Jackman?,” begins the rousing tune. Jackman was his usual jovial self throughout the impromptu performance, chuckling his way through, even when he misses that last high-note.
