It’s been a minute since we last saw Jimmy Fallon don the hat and harmonica holder to assume the persona of Neil Young. But it’s been even longer, nearly a decade to be slightly more exact, since the beloved Canadian folk rock hero shared a stage with the members of Crosby, Stills & Nash.
We’ve already been treated to a somber cover of Miley Cyrus‘ Party in the U.S.A. which saw Fallon a.k.a. Young joined by David Crosby and Graham Nash, but for this rendition of the Iggy Azalea and Charli XCX hit Fancy, they felt it necessary for Stephen Stills to lend his classic folk chops.
CSN were on the show to support the release of their new box set, CSNY 1974, a compilation of recordings from their 1974 reunion tour with Young. Their performance with Fallon is the latest in a string of great Young covers that have also included Whip My Hair alongside Bruce Springsteen.
