The Killers performed their Glastonbury headline slot over the weekend, drawing the biggest crowd of the festival to that point.
After confirming that they are still one of the great live acts with a set that the BBC labelled “triumphant”, they followed through on their promise to bring out some special guests.
The first encore saw the band joined by the Pet Shop Boys to perform ‘Always On My Mind’, and then a rendition of ‘Human’.

After PSBs left the stage, Brandon Flowers announced “they say never meet your heroes but I think that went alright”.
As if that wasn’t enough, The Killers were then joined by Johnny Marr.
“Now i’m gonna double down. Ladies and gentleman, guitar hero, Johnny fuckin’ Marr,” said Flowers.
What followed was, incredibly, a cover of The Smiths‘ ‘This Charming Man’.

And of course, they finished with ‘Mr Brightside’, accompanied by Marr on guitar.
