Watch Kanye West’s ‘Saturday Night Live’ Medley With Sia & Vic Mensa

The man of a thousand headlines, Kanye West, took the stage as one of many musical guests for Saturday Night Live‘s 40th anniversary special where he played a trio of songs, one of which featured Sia and Vic Mensa.

The performance kicked off with Kanye laying on his back under a white-lit ceiling rapping Jesus Walks, a powerful cut from his debut The Collage Dropout. He then stands and moves through a rather rusty and raspy rendition of his Paul McCartney collaboration Only One.

After dropping to his knees, Kanye is then joined by Sia and Vic Mensa for the debut live performance of Wolves – the first track confirmed to be taken from his forthcoming Yeezus follow-up.

In the lead up to the show, Kanye jokingly, we think, stole the mic from Today host Matt Lauer while he was introducing the Saturday Night Live 40th anniversary special. This time, he allowed Lauer to finish.

Other musical guests at SNL’s anniversary show included Paul McCartney, Paul Simon, Justin Timberlake and Miley Cyrus.
