Watch Keith Urban Cover Taylor Swift’s ‘Lover’

Taylor Swift just dropped her highly anticipated new album Lover, and besides racking up some serious sales, she’s inspired fellow country music juggernaut Keith Urban to cover the gorgeous title track.

Performing at the Washington State Fair over the weekend, Urban covered the album’s title track and published a clip of it to Instagram.

“Every now and then you hear a song that you love and wish you’d written,” he wrote.

“…A HUGE thx to my band as well- we didn’t get to rehearse so…. this is us fully winging it.”

He tagged Taylor in the video, to which she then reposted it on her Instagram story and had her own fan moment herself.

“Keith Urban covering ‘Lover’ flawlessly,” she wrote.

“I am screaming. This is beautiful.”

The two have joined forces onstage before during Swift’s mammoth 1989 tour. Urban joined her at the Toronto stop of the tour, and they covered two of his tracks – ‘Somebody Like You’ and ‘John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16’.
