A few weeks ago Music Feeds reported on Musical Memories, an ongoing series brought to you from Dave Grohl’s incredible looking forthcoming documentary Sound City Movie, in which some of the most legendary figures in the industry think back and recall their first interaction with music.
Essentially the brief clips serve as a preview for the doco and give viewers an idea of the incredible scope the film boasts in sheer star power. The first two instalments of Musical Memories saw Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich and REO Speedwagon’s Kevin Cronin reminisce, and now there’s a whole slew of musical personalities offering their childhood musical memories.
Sound City’s YouTube Channel has posted clips of Trent Reznor, famed producer Rick Rubin, Rage Against the Machine drummer Brad Wilk plus Black Francis of Pixies notoriety and plenty more. But why read about them when you can watch them, enjoy!
