Watch Liam Gallagher Review Aussie Artist Vera Blue On His New Music Show

Liam Gallagher now has his own weekly music review show on Vice and the first episode has seen him review Aussie singer/songwriter Vera Blue.

As part of Liam Gallagher’s Weekly Music Corner, he was asked to give his first impression of a handful of tracks including Blue’s ‘Lady Power’s off her debut album Perennial.

Gallagher seemed to take immediate issue with the first line of the song which has Blue singing, “Other day you said you’d buy me flowers.”

“She’s asking for flowers man, you can’t ask for flowers,” he said.

“You either get them or you don’t, y’know what I mean? She’ll be asking for chocolates next won’t she?”

He also reviewed tracks by Damian Marley and Ugly God but he seemed to be most impressed with Canadian rock band METZ.

Gallagher will be in the country at the end of the year for Falls Festival plus a couple of headline shows. He will also release his debut solo album As You Were next month.
