Metallica have dropped the official footage of their live shows from Soundwave festival back in February, giving fans a chance to relive all of the live action from the metal giants, as well as a sneak peak into what goes on backstage and before the show.
The Sydney video shows the band doing a meet and greet backstage with fans before sound-checking and then taking to the main stage at Soundwave, celebrating bassist Robert Trujillo‘s 10-year anniversary with the band and then rocking through Orion. The Brisbane footage shows some pre-show moments in the tuning room and then gives us the live footage of the band playing …And Justice For All, bringing the goods to the sunshine state.
Metallica have been full of surprises for the fans of late, playing a secret show at their own Orion Music + More festival in Detroit last week. Their 3D film Through The Never is due for release ‘in cinemas everywhere’ from the 4th October, although it’s unclear if ‘everywhere’ will include Australia.
