Watch: Neil Young and Crazy Horse Post 34 Minute ‘In The Studio’ Video For New Album

Neil Young and Crazy Horse have posted a video of some footage of themselves jamming in the studio, in what could be new footage of themselves preparing their new album. This footage comes after news last week that Young had revealed plans to release a new record with long-time collaborative partners.

The 34-minute long video shows tape rolling in the studio from a few different angles, with the band jamming along to some familiar tracks as well as what could be new material. Fans might also notice that there are lyric sheets for previously unknown songs scattered around the studio.

Young announced the project during Park City, Utah’s Slamdance Film Festival, where he was out supporting the Jonathan Demme-directed film Journeys. Both Rolling Stone and the Crazy Horse drummer have confirmed the news. Young had told Rolling Stone back in 2008 that there was a recorded album with Crazy Horse, however it had been shelved. Titled Toast, the record, according to Young, was “really dark” and featured “everything that the best Crazy Horse albums have had.” This lead to questions over whether this latest attempt would follow through or not.
