Watch Neil Young Team Up With Jimmy Fallon’s Neil Young For A Neil Young Classic

The last time we saw Jimmy Fallon dressed as Neil Young he was playing a cover of Iggy Azalea’s Fancy with Crosby, Stills and Nash but now he’s finally teamed up with the man himself.

Making people see double, Fallon and Young performed side by side on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon dressed in matching outfits. It’s almost impossible to tell who’s who with Fallon emulating Young’s signature drawl with ease during a cover of Old Man. It seems Old Man is a far more suitable song choice for the real Neil Young given that previously Fallon’s version of Young has covered everything from Whip My Hair to The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air.

In May last year on Fallon’s show, a grey-haired Young joked about the Whip My Hair cover saying, “When I looked at that I thought what colourist did I have when I did that?” to which Fallon replied, “You had nice brown hair, it’s beautiful”.

Last night, without Fallon, Young also performed Who’s Gonna Stand Up? from last year’s Storytone proving that the 69 year old has still well and truly got it.

Fallon is making quite a name for himself as a rockstar impressionist. Last year when U2 had to pull out of playing on the show, Fallon stepped-up and acted as a formidable Bono.
