UK MC Stormzy is continuing to prove he’s so much more than a master of grime, most recently with a soulful cover of Frank Ocean‘s 2016 track ‘Godspeed’.
Stormzy came into BBC Radio 1Xtra to perform a bunch of tracks including ‘Blinded By Your Grace Pt. 2′, ’21 Gun Salute’ and ‘Bad Boys’ with a bunch of guests.
Following those songs, Stormzy’s guests exited and and Stormzy performed a heart-tugging cover of Ocean’s track from his album Blonde, with keyboard and a trio of backing singers that’ll leave you with goosebumps.
It’s great timing for the Brit to be showing off just how versatile he is. Stormzy has already said he’s “definitely” going to tour Australia in 2017, and just quietly the lineup announcement for Splendour In The Grass is less than a day away…
