In the latest “Holy shit!” moment to come out of Coachella 2016, Ice Cube was joined onstage by Dr. Dre, MC Ren and DJ Yella to mark the first live reunion of all surviving members of N.W.A. in 27 mother flippin’ years.
It follows a mini-reunion during Cube’s set last weekend featuring Ren & Yella, but they, uh, forgot about Dre.
Not this time though.
While the reunited foursome sadly didn’t perform any N.W.A. classics, they did bust out Dre’s Still Dre and, appropriately, 2Pac’s California Love.
And it wasn’t the only “Holy shit!” moment of Ice Cube’s set either. The veteran rapper also trotted out Kendrick Lamar for a rendition of his 2015 hit Alright.
He also dedicated the whole set to music legend Prince, who passed away on Thursday at the age of 57. The Purple One has been the subject of numerous heartfelt musical tributes across Coachella weekend 2.
