It appears that in a matter of weeks, Hamish Blake and Andy Lee’s new travel show Perfect Holiday will hit TV screens on Nine.
The new show captures the comedy duo’s recent jaunt to the United States – but with a slight twist as far as itinerary is concerned.
“America. A travel destination with so much on offer. How will two best friends possibly agree on what to see and do?” asks a narrator, before providing the answer – “Easy. They won’t.”
That’s right – Perfect Holiday sees Hamo and Andy each planning one half of the trip – both unaware of what the other one has in store for their travel activities.
Seems like it will be a gloriously chaotic trip, and perhaps in a similar vein to its spiritual predecessor of Gap Year.
“It’ll still be us making each other eat weird things, pushing each other into swamps and stuff, but the format is like, we know the route we’re travelling but every alternating day I’ll plan a day for Andy and then the next day he plans the day,” Hamish told the Kyle and Jackie O show about Perfect Holiday‘s content.
“There’s some genuine, great adventures that I think I’ve got us organised to go on, but it will be a lot of fun.”
