Footage has emerged of Jane’s Addiction rocking out with their mate Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine, Prophets Of Rage) and former drummer of The Smashing Pumpkins, Jimmy Chamberlin, during their set at frontman Perry Farrell’s annual Lollapalooza music festival in Chicago, Illinois.
Crowd-shot video from Jane’s Addiction Lollapalooza set (below) sees Morello rock out with some wailing guitar work on Mountain Song, while Chamberlin makes a guest appearance on the drums for Jane Says.
Lollapalooza was originally created by Farrell in 1991, originally as a farewell tour for Jane’s Addiction. This year, the 25th anniversary of the festival has played host to sets by the likes of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Major Lazer, The Last Shadow Puppets, Disclosure, LCD Soundsystem and Bloc Party.
Meanwhile, The Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan is reportedly making plans for shows with the band’s original lineup, featuring Chamberlin on drums.
