Watch U2’s The Edge Actually Fall Off The Edge Of A Stage

The world can be a harsh, bitter and lonely place. But sometimes, not often, but sometimes, the Universe throws you a piece of magic that makes you believe in something again. That day, my friends, has arrived in the form of a video showing U2 guitarist The Edge actually falling off THE EDGE of a stage in Vancouver.

Before you get all self-righteous, he’s fine, so we’re in the clear to enjoy this piece of footage (below) documenting the perfect moment when the 53-year-old guitarist, during a rendition of I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For, actually just walks straight off the edge of the stage.

Bono, the consummate professional, just keeps singing as crew rush to give the PERFECTLY NAMED U2 guitarist a hand. “Didn’t see the edge, I’m ok!!” he wrote later on Instagram, with a photo showing a bit of a graze on his arm.

This all happened during the first show of U2’s world tour in Vancouver on Thursday, so we’re off to a cracking start.
