South Australian music and arts festival staple WOMAdelaide has unveiled the first batch of artists who will grace its 2025 lineup. Legendary English multi-instrumentalist and two-time winner of the Mercury Music Prize PJ Harvey leads next year’s 47-artist strong roster, which includes a multi-cultural assortment of acts from across the globe including Nils Frahm (Germany), Mariza (Portugal), Goran Bregović & His Wedding & Funeral Band (Serbia) and Cie Yoann Bourgeois (France).
Elsewhere, Australian First Nations collective 3% will be bringing their politically-charged hip-hop to the festivities, alongside Papua New Guinea-born, Sydney-based artist Ngaiire, 2024 multi-ARIA award nominee and proud Warnindhilyagwa woman Emily Wurramara and loads more.

“WOMADelaide is when Adelaide throws its arms around the world to welcome, share, discover and celebrate music, arts and dance and today’s announcement of 47 groups from 28 countries demonstrates why it truly is the world’s festival,” WOMADelaide Festival Director, Ian Scobie AM, said in a press statement.
The annual festival – whose name is an acronym for World of Music, Arts and Dance – will run from Friday, 7th to Monday, 10th March 2025 in Adelaide’s Botanic Park/Tainmuntilla.
