UPDATE 7/11/16: Wonderland festival has expanded its 2016 lineup, adding a bunch of new acts to the bill.
ORIGINAL STORY: Western Australia just got yet another great summer festival lineup, with Perth festival Wonderland returning for its sixth year with a doozy of a bill.
The all-Aussie affair will be headed by Flight Facilities, who have just come off the back of a special performance in Sydney with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
They may be the headliners, but the gold certainly doesn’t stop there. Something About You hitmaker Hayden James, Brisbane indie heroes The Jungle Giants, Tassie pop queen Asta and punk kids Skeggs will all head to Perth in December for the festival.
Wonderland is returning inland to the lush Kitchener Park in Subiaco this year. Organisers are teasing new territory to conquer, including a stage made entirely out of shipping containers, a craft beer hub and a Teepee Village.
By the sounds of it, it’s going to be another huge year for Wonderland, and it’s all going down on 3rd December. Catch the first full lineup announcement below, as we stand by for more to be announced.
