Yabun Festival has announced its return, sharing the line-up for its 2025 iteration. As is tradition, the Indigenous music, arts and culture festival will take place on January 26th – known as Invasion Day, or Survival Day – after the annual rally in the Sydney CBD. It will be held in Victoria Park in Broadway, on the unceded lands of the Gadigal people of the Eora nation. The full line-up can be found below.
Headlining the event will be Troy Cassar-Daley, fresh from the release of his 14th studio album Between The Fires. The album debuted at number two on the ARIA Albums Chart upon the week of release – being held off only by Taylor Swift‘s The Tortured Poets Department. Elsewhere on the bill are Barkaa – herself fresh from the release of her second EP Big Tidda – and former Eurovision contestants Electric Fields as marquee acts.
