Troy Cassar-Daley Announces His New Album And 2024 Australian Tour

Country music legend Troy Cassar-Daley has announced his new 12th album titled Between The Fires, which is set to release on 10th May via Sony Music Australia. The upcoming album will be his most personal as it is inspired by his late mother’s property at Halfway Creek near Grafton, NSW.

Alongside the album announcement, Troy Cassar-Daley has also announced a massive Australian tour starting from May to November 2024. This extensive tour will give fans across the country the opportunity to experience Cassar-Daley’s captivating live performances.

Troy Cassar-Daley Shared The Story Behind His New Album

Troy Cassar-Daley expressed a deep personal connection to the location and the inspiration he found there in a press release statement.

He said, The new album was recorded at my Late Mum’s old place at Halfway Creek and is incredibly special on many levels. It’s the place I moved to when my Nan Daley died in 1979 and where I lived for many years.” He continued, “The reason I wanted to record there was that after losing Mum and going back with a very heavy heart, I started to write songs. I started to feel that this was the center of my musical universe again, just like (how) it was growing up.”

Troy Cassar-Daley concluded his statement by saying – ” I want this album to reflect that there isn’t a more powerful place in the world than a childhood home. To know Mum was there in spirit to help guide this record was a true gift. Thanks, Troy.'”
