30 Seconds To Mars Tease Potential August 2013 Australian Tour

In an interview with Tone Deaf, main man Jared Leto apparently let slip that he will be returning to Australia with his full band for a headlining tour this coming August.

It’s probably the worst kept secret that 30 Seconds To Mars would be Down Under this year. The band have been dangling the carrot in front of their Aussie fans for some time now but failed to lock in a date. During the interview, Leto has explained that the group will be here in August, the first time since their 2011 stint on Soundwave 2011.

As it turns out, Australia has been on the bands wishlist for a while now, but as Leto explains, “We had wanted to get back sooner, but decided it was better to write an album, because I know generally when I’m writing an album it takes me a bit of time so we felt it best to get a new album and then come back and that’s exactly what we’re doing.”

30 Seconds To Mars are set to make a massive return to the forefront of our attention. Not too long ago they released Up In The Air, the first single off the follow-up to 2009’s This Is War dubbed Love Lust Faith + Dreams. The full album will drop Friday, 17th May.

And let me assure you that plenty of fucks are given, for the ultra-cool people about to suggest otherwise.
