As the lineup announcement date for Bluesfest 2014 draws near, organisers have begun to stir the pot and fill our heads with the glorious possibilities of talent potentially locked in to perform. Next year will be the 25th year for the brand and the team behind the event is sure to make a big deal of the occasion.
Organisers are clearly just as excited as future ticket holders, given that they will be announcing their lineup earlier in the year than normal. Though a date is yet to be locked in for the official announcement, you can damn well bet it’s going to happen real soon. Once again, we have been promised a healthy cross section of upcoming, modern and legendary talent to perform across the event’s 7 different stages.
There has also been an update on the ticketing side of things today. Supplies of 5-day passes are running very, very low, though there is expected to be another release down the track. Potential buyers are reminded that for each of the festival’s 5 days there will be a different headliner, and of course you won’t want to miss any of them.
Bluesfest 2014 will once again be held over the Easter long weekend. With previous acts such as R.E.M, Ben Harper, Bob Dylan, Robert Plant and Buddy Guy, Bluesfest have set the bar high for themselves and, fortunately for us, it looks like they’re going to clear it for their silver anniversary in 2014.
