Bring Me The Horizon’s Oli Sykes Is Doing A DJ Set In Melbourne This Weekend

Looks like Bring Me The Horizon fans in Melbourne will be getting more than they bargained for this weekend.

As well being treated to some epic arena shows after last year’s tour dates got rescheduled (due to frontman Oli Sykes’ dodgy health), BMTH fans will also get to sing along a little fuckin’ louder when the serial throat-tearer drops in for a guest DJ set at the official Bang! pre-party.

Syko will be hitting the decks at the Royal Melbourne Hotel on Saturday, 4th February, to spin some of his fave tunes, and it looks like the rest of the Sheffield metalcore crew *could* be there to party as well!

“We are, as you can imagine, expecting it to be huge and a great way for fans to get a more personal experience with the band,” a spokesperson from promoters Destroy All Lines tells Music Feeds.

And as if that wasn’t enough to put a Chelsea Smile on your dial — Sykes ain’t the only one rocking in for a guest DJ set.

The dudes from Periphery — who are also currently on tour across the country — will be packing into the DJ booth, following a hot serving of live music from some up-and-coming local bands, including hardcore crew BLKLST, Starting Fires and Sydney’s Isotopes.

Doors open at 9pm, and organisers are strongly urging punters to get down there early, or else your dreams of partying with Bring Me The Horizon could very well be Doomed.
