Bring Me The Horizon’s ‘POST HUMAN: NeX GEn’ Album Arrives As Surprise-Drop

Almost a year after first announcing the next instalment of their POST HUMAN album series NeX GEn and a number of lengthy delays, Bring Me The Horizon have surprise-dropped the entire 16-track LP on our eardrums.

POST HUMAN: NeX GEn hit the internet in full on Friday, featuring two new collaborations with both Underoath and AURORA (who features on the song ‘Limousine’ in the place of a rumoured Billie Eilish), along with previously-released singles ‘Kool-Aid’, ‘LosT, ‘DArkSide’, ‘AmEN!’, ‘DiE4u’ and ‘sTraNgeRs’.

Commenting on the new record, frontman Oli Sykes said: “It’s a real concept album, with a full narrative that connects to the first record, but the concept is hidden and buried. Some people aren’t going to be interested, but for some people it could be like a self-help book. There’s a lot of things in there, some of it’s quite clear, but a lot of it cryptic and hidden. People are gonna have to work it out.”
