Byron Bay Bluesfest 2014 Playing Schedule Revealed

The playing schedule for Byron Bay Bluesfest 2014 has been unveiled, giving eager punters an idea of what to expect on each day of the award-winning festival. This year the event will play host to the likes of John Mayer, Dave Matthews Band, John Butler Trio, and Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros.

The first lineup announcement was made earlier today, sparking much excitement in fans of the festival and with only a partial lineup so far revealed, Bluesfest 2014 already looks set to be one of the biggest music events of 2014. At the moment it looks like things will kick off with roots rock ‘n’ roller Nikki Hill, who’ll then pass the baton to Allen Stone, to Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, before revellers will end the night with what is sure to be a blazing performance by John Mayer and his band.

For those only looking to get a taste of the festival and enjoy just one day of blues, folk, roots, jazz and soul, Saturday, 19th April is jam-packed with some of the brightest stars the 2014 festival has to offer and might be the day to pick for your one-day pass. Launching once again with Nikki Hill, the day will also feature KT Tunstall, Devendra Banhart, Morcheeba, Iron & Wine, John Butler Trio, and will be headlined by Dave Matthews Band.

Tickets for the for the 25th anniversary edition of the festival, held over the Easter Long Weekend from 17th–21st April at the Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm, north of Byron Bay, are priced at $515 for the full five days, $385 for three days, and $149 for one day, with plenty of camping and VIP options available.
