Eminem Features Aussie M-Phazes On New Album ‘MMLP2’

It’s no secret that Australian producers have some solid studio chops and it looks like Eminem has caught on, with the rapper’s upcoming album, MMLP2, featuring the work of Aussie producer M-Phazes on the track Bad Guy.

Fans will already be familiar with the wares of M-Phazes, real name Mark Landon, who’s previously worked with Aussies Bliss N Eso, 360, and Illy as well as US rapper Talib Kweli.

The producer lent his skills to Shady for album track Bad Guy, sharing production duties with S1, turning into the lead track from the upcoming release. In a statement regarding the collaboration, Landon said:

“Being a long-time fan of Eminem, it’s a real honour to co-produce the opening track of his next album, and it’s incredible to know that both Rick Rubin and Dr. Dre have given my work their seal of approval!”

Of course, Aussies have already given M-Phazes their seal of approval, with his album Good Gracious winning the ARIA award for Best Urban Release back in 2010. Landon is currently working on another album with The Works, expected to drop in the near future.

Eminem will be releasing his new album Tuesday, 5th November before the man himself will be heading Down Under with a selection of the game’s best MCs for a run of Australian tour dates as part of Rapture Festival 2014.
