German duo Milky Chance made international waves this year with their debut album Sadnecessary, led by the hypnotic lead-single Stolen Dance. Now, before the duo head to Australia for their first ever headline shows and a run of festival dates, they’ve shared an acoustic performance of their song Stunner, which you can view exclusively on Music Feeds.
Performed as part of the Sadnecessary Sessions, Milky Chance have taken to an open field armed with only an acoustic guitar and sparse percussion to deliver a beautiful version of the Sadnecessary track.
The duo also provide a little behind-the-scenes commentary on the inspiration behind the song – hint: it’s a girl – and how its musical composition complements the feeling they are trying to get across.
The performance should act as a precursor to fans heading along to catch Milky Chance when they take the stage at Falls Festival, Southbound and Field Day this summer as well as their various sideshows. See all those tour dates below.
