Fleetwood Mac Are Plotting A “Global” Tour For 2018

In 2015, Fleetwood Mac reunited for an Australian tour with their original, non-Peter Green, lineup, for the first time since 1998 and now it seems they’re set to do it again.

Two of the band’s members, Christine McVie and Lindsey Buckingham, are currently promoting their self-titled debut album together but McVie is already talking about a Fleetwood Mac reunion.

McVie told The One Show (via NME) in the UK, “We’re going to start rehearsing in March, next year. The tour is around June. It will be global.”

They’re due to play two festival shows in the US this year but apart from that it seems we’ll have to wait until next year for them to hit the road extensively.

No word yet on what countries they will be visiting but given they came to Australia last tour, hopefully they’ll have us in their sights once again.

McVie’s comments align with what bandmate Stevie Nicks told Rolling Stone.

“I will be back with them at the end of the year for, I think, another tour,” she said.

“I just needed my two years off. Until then, I wish them the best in whatever they do.”
