Garbage Announce 2016 Australian Tour

Garbage are returning to Australia for the first time since 2013 in support of their 2016 album Strange Little Birds.

The Scottish/American band will play eight dates across Australia including three indoor shows and five shows as part of the A Day On The Green wineries tour.

Their new album is their first since 2012’s Not Your Kind Of People. It heralds a return to form for the band who last year celebrated the 20th Anniversary of their debut self-titled album.

With Shirley Manson upfront, they’re set to tear through new songs and, if recent setlists are anything to go by, plenty of old favourites too.

They will play headline shows in Sydney, Wollongong and Melbourne, bringing along Tiny Little Houses, Tash Sultana and Olympia to support on various dates.

These shows are in addition to their co-headline A Day On The Green tour with The Temper Trap which will also see them joined by The Preatures, Tash Sultana and Adalita.

Tickets are on sale Monday, 8th August at 3pm AEDT. Check out all the dates below.
