How to Destroy Angels’ Debut Album ‘Welcome Oblivion’ Out March

Written by Marc Zanotti on January 11, 2013

How to Destroy Angels have announced via the ‘creative collective’s’ Facebook page that their debut LP, Welcome Oblivion, will be released March 5, 2013. As reported by Diffuser, Welcome Oblivion was originally expected in early 2012.

Instead, the band put out the EP Omen last November. Some songs from Omen are expected to appear on Welcome Oblivion, but other than that, details on the LP are scant. In the meantime, Trent Reznor and company have released a new music video for the track The Loop Closes.

The clip was directed by How to Destroy Angels, and if you’ve seen the videos for Keep It Together and Ice Age, then you kind of know what to expect. In other words, it matches the music well, which in this case means eerie VH footage that gives ya the creeps.
