We are now a third of the way into the unveiling of Paramore’s soon-to-be released self-titled album, and so far, things are sounding pretty damn tight. Paramore is set for Australian release on Friday, 5th April, and come tomorrow night (Side D), we’ll have a full taste of what’s coming.
The run of tracks kicks off with the familiar sound of Still Into You. The track was released with a lyric video recently, but it appears that the band are currently working on a video feature set for release in the near future.
Anklebiters is one we haven’t heard before and sees the band approach their sound with a similar fun vibe as Still Into You, but this time they’re totally writing someone off. It’s short but it has fangs. Interlude: Holiday is a pretty chilled break in things, followed by Proof, one of the first jams finished for the album, and Hate To See Your Heart Break, an ode to lost love.
