Melvins Announce 2017 Australian Tour

Legendary US rockers Melvins are returning to Australia this year for an extensive headline tour.

The band will be touring here for the first time in four years, with five dates locked in across Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane this November. The tour will be supported by LA’s Redd Kross.

It’s all in support of Melvins’ newly-released double album A Walk With Love And Death, which is their first double album ever. One side of the record is a classic Melvins album, while the other is a soundtrack to director Jesse Nieminen’s short film, which shares its title with the album.

Melvins have had an incredible career, forming in 1983 and consistently releasing albums over the last three decades. You’ll no doubt be hearing some of their new stuff while they’re in Australia, as well as a bevy of classics.
