Our Last Night Launch Crowdfunding Campaign To Fund Dual EP Release

Post-hardcore dons Our Last Night have announced this week they will be dropping a dual EP release this year, but they’ll need your help to do it. The band has taken to crowdsourcing service Indiegogo to facilitate the campaign, throwing in some tasty incentives for those willing to contribute.

The dual EPs could potentially be released as early as Tuesday, 5th November, with the first track expected to be released sometime over the next month. According to the band, one EP will be plugged in and pumping while the other will be an acoustic version of the first.

In order to complete the project, the band will need to raise US$15,000 (less the US$6,729 that has already been donated at time of publish) over the next 28 days. Fans will be rewarded for their donations with packages which include everything from early downloads of the material to signed merch to having the whole band round at your place for some pizza and jams.

Over the past six years, the band has released 3 full-length albums with the most recent being 2012’s Age Of Ignorance. For most of that time, Our Last Night enjoyed a fruitful relationship with their label Epitaph though now that the contract has been complete, they will be continuing business as an independent outfit, hence the lack of cash.

To coincide with the announcement, the band have released the latest edition of their A Summer Of Covers series, flipping Zedd’s Clarity. Check that out below and prepare for the band’s maiden voyage Down Under for Soundwave 2014.
