Outkast Members Together Again On Re-Worked Frank Ocean Track

Written by Mike Hohnen on January 3, 2013

For the first time since 2010, Big Boi and Andre 3000 have fused their hip hop stylings. The pair, who last appeared together on Big Boi’s solo effort Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty are set to feature forthcoming Frank Ocean track Pink Matter.

I know what you’re thinking: ‘err, but I’ve already heard Pink Matter’, and that may be the case as the track landed on the gangbusters release Channel ORANGE with Andre 3000, but the fresh jam will feature a verse from Big Boi as well.

You’ll be able to get your hands on the re-worked track on 7th January, according to Contact Music.

While the duo have been prosperous throughout their respective solo careers, a future album from the outfit was shut down early in 2012. But who’s to say what will happen now that the creative juices are once again flowing in unison.
