Ozzy Osbourne Is Undergoing “Intense Therapy” For Sex Addiction Following Affair

It’s been all quiet on the Osbourne front lately after a couple of weeks off the back of reports the marriage between Ozzy and Sharon had disintegrated. Now Ozzy has released a statement on the matter, revealing his battles with a sex addiction that has plagued him for the past six years.

“Over the last 6 years, I have been dealing with a sex addiction,” begins Ozzy in his post. “Since the press exposed this I have gone into intense therapy.”

Osbourne explains he’s “mortified” by his behaviour during this period which has taken an immeasurable toll on his family, adding, “I thank God that my incredible wife is at my side to support me.” The statement is also a fairly positive one, all things considered, with Osbourne suggesting “out of bad comes good.”

All this sex addiction talk is in stark contract to comments made by the alleged ‘other woman’ stylist Michelle Pugh who referred to Osbourne as “the greatest love of my life.” This is addressed in the rock legend’s statement, ripping it off like a band-aid.

“I’m sorry if Ms. Pugh took our sexual relationship out of context. I’d also like to apologize to the other women I have been having sexual relationships with.”

The scandal surrounding rock n’ roll’s version of ‘Becky with the good hair’ kicked off some months ago after it was revealed Sharon had kicked Ozzy out of their L.A. home following three-decades of marriage.

Sharon Osbourne addressed Ozzy’s revelation on a TV talk show, aptly titled The Talk. “He’s been an outpatient for sex addiction for the last three months,” she said. “And after the tour—he’s starting his summer tour with Black Sabbath—after the tour he goes into in patient for three months. He’s working at it. It’s hard because it affects the whole family. And it’s quite embarrassing to talk about.”

“Somehow drugs and drink is more acceptable, but when it’s somebody that has a sex addiction it’s embarrassing. [But] I’m proud that he’s come out and admitted it finally.”

We’re guessing this is just phase one of Ozzy’s supposed “big time” payment for his fuck up.
