Queens Of The Stone Age Stream ‘…Like Clockwork’ In Full

As seems to be the style these days, Queens Of The Stone Age are streaming their sixth studio album …Like Clockwork in full for your listening pleasure, 2 days ahead of its Australian release date this Friday.

The alt rock gods took to Twitter to announce the good news, saying “Dear world, starting tomorrow you can stream ALL of …Like Clockwork @iTunesMusic Get on in there.” You can head to iTunes if you’d like to do just that and join the throng of critics saying that the band’s first album in 6 years may just be their best one yet.

You’ve probably already caught an auditory glimpse of the latest offering from Josh Homme and friends. They live-streamed a performance of the album in front of a sold-out crowd last week via NPR, playing …Like Clockwork in full as well as some fan favourites including No One Knows, Little Sister and Feel Good Hit Of The Summer.

The band also revealed a smattering of tracks via a pretty disturbingly excellent set of animated videos, as well as premiering some of the new tracks at live shows.

Speaking of live shows, we know Queens are pretty much ruled out to play Soundwave 2014, thanks to the heavy-tweetin’ AJ Maddah, but we’re hoping that they come good on this claim from a triple j journo that they’ll be hitting Oz for their own string of headline shows in 2014.

…Like Clockwork hits the stores on Friday, 31st May.
