Regina Spektor New Album Out May 2012

Regina Spektor has just posted details on her new album, which will be released in May 2012 (fingers crossed). The name of the new album will be What We Saw From The Cheap Seats, and Spektor has been working with Avenged Sevenfold producer Mike Elizondo, she revealed via a post on facebook today.

The new album will come on the back of her highly successful 2009 album, Far. The album has been finished for a while, Spektor states in the Facebook post:

I’m very excited to say that this summer I recorded a new record with Mike Elizondo in L.A. It’s been finished for a little while, but I had no idea when it would be out in the world until now. We’re trying to get everything ready for it to come out in May (but I will share some stuff before then for sure!). It’s called: What We Saw From The Cheap Seats.
