San Cisco Announce New Album ‘Gracetown’, Share New Single

Fremantle’s San Cisco have served up another jangly new single Too Much Time Together, the latest cut to be taken from their forthcoming sophomore album, Gracetown, due out in Australia on March 6th.

The typically sweet-sounding sunny new single actually deals with some pretty dark themes. As frontman Jordi Davieson explains, “This is about people holding onto each other so tightly they self-combust.” It follows previous single Run, which after just a month on the airwaves nabbed number 33 on triple j’s Hottest 100 of 2014.

Both tracks will feature on the band’s forthcoming new album Gracetown, which owes its title to a laid back coastal town in South Western Australia. The band have also shared the album’s cover art which features a design from local artist, Pete Matulich.

San Cisco were recently announced as part of the Groovin The Moo 2015 lineup and are also a part of the big Australian contingent heading to South By Southwest this year. They’ll also be playing the free St Kilda Festival this weekend.

Gracetown is available for pre-order in Australia today and will be released on Friday, 6th March. Listen to Too Much Time Together below.
