Influential international rock outfit Soundgarden will return to Australia soon as a part of the massive Soundwave 2015 lineup and have announced today they will play two additional Sidewave shows in Sydney and Melbourne whilst visiting.
The Seattle rockers will play their first Sidewave at Melbourne’s Festival Hall on Tuesday 24th February and will then move on to the Big Top at Sydney’s Luna Park on Thursday, 26th February 2015.
As well as their extensive back catalogue, they’ll bring along songs from their recently dropped rarities and B-sides compilation album, Echo of Miles: Scattered Tracks Across The Path, which dropped in Australia this past November. The album also features the track Storm, the band’s first new song in two years, which actually dates back to the mid-’80s and was re recorded with acclaimed grunge producer Jack Endino.
