Sydney indie rock royals Red Riders will ride again, announcing plans to return and perform one final curtain call in their home city.
After going out with a bang at their final show in 2011, Red Riders will blast back from the past to paint the town Red by bringing all your favourite tunes back to life, live at Marrickville’s Red Rattler, in a surprise reunion for Red Bull’s ‘Sound Select’ series on Friday, 31st March.
You can’t say they don’t know how to commit to a theme.
Red Riders will appear for one night only, alongside recent I OH YOU signing Brightness, Inner-West lads Shearin’ and Body Type DJs as part of the March instalment of Red Bull’s branded live music series, which aims to showcase a new wave of “norm-defying Australian talent”.
With two widely acclaimed LPs and an EP under their belt, Red Riders chalked up a rep for touring relentlessly across the nation and the US back in the day, with widely-vibed singles like ‘Ordinary’, ‘Slide In Next To Me’ and’My Love Is Stronger Than Your Love’ tearing up noughties radio.
