Tegan And Sara Announce Australian Tour, April 2013

Written by Marc Zanotti on February 6, 2013

Think we’re done with GTM 2013 sideshows? Think again! Canadian twin sister duo Tegan and Sara and packing their bags and their indie pop rock songs and heading back to Australia for a national tour, Groovin’ The Moo 2013 and a special one-off gig at the Sydney Opera House.

For anyone who has seen Tegan and Sara live, you’ll know that the pair’s charm is not confined to their accessible music. Witty, funny and self-effacing, Tegan and Sara are just as effective at eliciting a response from their audience between songs as they are when belting out their popular singles.

Tegan and Sara’s seventh studio album Heartthrob is due for Australian release this Friday, 8th February. That gives Australian fans a few months to become well acquainted with the new material and get ready for Tegan and Sara’s return to Oz.

Tickets are on sale now – go git ’em!

UPDATE: 19/02/13

Due to popular demand Tegan and Sara have added a second date to perform at the Sydney Opera House. Behind their recently released seventh studio album Heartthrob the sibling duo are once again the toast of the indie-pop scene.

Tickets for both the previous Opera House show and the newly announced Opera House show on Friday, 26th April are on sale now! Be quick ’cause these won’t last long!
