Tom DeLonge Is Releasing Blink-182 Demos And “Extra Tracks” On March 1st

The Blink-182 internal saga continues as embattled guitarist, and noted alien spotter, Tom DeLonge announced that he will be releasing new Blink-182 demos next month on his own personal website.

“I will be launching personal recordings of new Blink demos, along with a few extra tracks on tomDeLonge.me,” he announced on Twitter. The tweet has since been deleted but because this is the internet where nothing ever goes away, you can see a screen shot below (via Alternative Press).

The website tomDeLonge.me currently shows a white background with the text “Coming Soon.”

Following a public sledging match between him and his Blink 182 bandmates, he shared two snippets of audio (below) through his Instagram account with the hashtags #SongsWithoutAHome and #March1st.

Internal tensions in the band were revealed to the public when Blink bassist Mark Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker announced that DeLonge would be replaced by Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba for upcoming shows. They cited an email from DeLonge’s manager which stated the founding guitarist didn’t want to participate in Blink-182 “indefinitely”.

In a latter statement, DeLonge said his relationship with his bandmates was now “poisoned”.

DeLonge has made headlines recently for another reason though, thanks to comments he made about one of his favourite topics, aliens and conspiracies, in a recent interview.
